This is exactly what you would expect from a nation fighting for it's survival. The USA had minors serving in WW2. They typically lied about their age so they could volunteer. But it certainly did happen, and our situation was nowhere near as desperate. Of course, the USSR had plenty of female soldiers during WW2 (not sure about underage), and the nazis used a ton of underage soldiers at the end of the war.
I don't think the USA was dragging minors off the street and tossing them in vans ya know?
Yesterday, 2nd Abrams was destroyed at Berdychi/Orlovka. Abrams were supposed to be the weapon of the last reserve. 2 in the last 5 days or so. Clear indication - last reserves ARE being employed.
The "game changed" was the political price to get the Germans to allow the end users of their armor to send them to Ukraine. Not an individual tank or battalion. And when that did happen we were already saying that the drone and semi autonomous anti armor missile had already made the main battle tank obsolete. But they already exist and releasing the excess weapons to do what they were built to do was less wasteful than trying to salvage any raw material from them.
When I responded to Listener 2307's post about Israel signaling that it will help Ukraine, I stated that the motivation has to do with its enemy Iran helping Russia.
Peter Zeihan pointed out some points that I missed. Israel changing its stance has more to with Russia inviting Hamas and Houthis terrorists to Moscow.
I predicted a year ago that Israel/Russia relationship would fracture. It has. I hope Ukraine is getting the Iron dome system.

Correct. Is there evidence to suggest Ukraine is dragging children/minors off the street and tossing them in vans? Is there any credible evidence to suggest that's what happened to this young girl? Or are you just assuming that's how it all went down?

Yes. There are MULTIPLE videos of people, being caught in the street, public transportation, gyms, bars, etc and, literally dragged and tossed into the conscriptions vans. Along with videos of them being beat up.
The latest is a male with CP, who died at the conscription place, after being beat up, crushed skull, broken ribs.
Go to Telegram, there are dozens of such vids. Of course, you can, also, say that Telegram is propaganda and it's all lies. Personal choice.
Until Dec, 2023 the draft age in Ukraine was 27. Those under 27 were not drafted.
In December a new law was proposed which would lower the draft age to 25. FULL ARTICLE HERE
As usual, there has been a lot of nonsense posted by the usual uninformed posters.
WSJ has obtained a copy of the deal that would have prevented this war.
Russia demanded:
1. Ukraine can join the EU, but no military alliances like NATO.
2. Ukraine would never allow foreign military onto its soil.
3. Ukraine would allow Russian language permanent legal status.
4. Ukraine would be permanently limited in its military on things like missiles with a certain range. "85,000 troops, 342 tanks and 519 artillery pieces. Ukrainian negotiators wanted 250,000 troops, 800 tanks and 1,900 artillery pieces, according to the document. Russia wanted to have the range of Ukrainian missiles capped at 40 kilometers (about 25 miles)."
5. Crimea would permanently be Russian.
6. Apparently Ukraine could keep everything else, but killing to end. Russia no further demands on land other than Crimea that they already had.
This deal was likely worth taking to save hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian lives, infrastructure, and Ukraine likely will now have to let go of Eastern Ukraine.
Bloomberg is reporting military intelligence thinks the entire Ukrainian front line will collapse by summer.

The won't get a better deal than that.
Of course now they'll have to cede Donbas & Luhansk as well, and probably everything east of the Dnieper.
Also referendum for Odessa.
