No doubt Ukraine is going to lose a few battles ...but NATO/WEF will win the war....
FTFY.

If it was just Ukraine, they would have EASILY lost the war a long time ago.

This remains to be seen.

Gen. David Petraeus: How the war in Ukraine will end

Good interview but he is not telling us any new. The war will end in a settlement, as he stated. At the current level of allied support, it is unlikely that Ukraine will be able to take back all the stolen lands including Crimea and the donbas regions.

He highlighted some techs and weapons that have helped Ukraine tremendously. Among them are Starlink satellites and the Bayraktar TB2 drone. Starlink is dropping support for Ukraine. The Bayraktar drones are no longer used because the Russians have figured out a way to shoot them down. The TB2 drone can be replaced, but the Starlink satellite coverage might not be easy to replace.

From the article:

Quote:
Bergen: What technologies have proven key to Ukrainian successes in this war? Several newish technologies seem to have proven important: Elon Musk’s Starlink mobile satellite systems kept communications open for the Ukrainians after the Russians had partially destroyed the phone system and jammed it. US-supplied HIMARS precision rockets have decimated Russian targets. Clearview AI, a controversial facial recognition technology used by some US police departments, has enabled the Ukrainians to identify Russian soldiers on the battlefield. TB2 Turkish armed drones have proven devastating to Russian targets and cheap commercial drones have helped the Ukrainians find targets.

1) Don't care.
2) They're not in a position to make it happen since the US is aligned with dozens of other countries in our effort to destroy Russia's economy. That effort will not end when hostilities do. In the end Russia will be impoverished.

What is this word "credibility". It does not exist in my language. <channeling the Putin lovers>

On Jan 27th Ukraine ordered another 16 TB2 armed drones. Russia has downed about 12, leaving Ukraine with about 8 operating.

This is why I think Russians have a death wish. If your foreign policy leads you to make a billion people your enemies while your shrinking population only has 144 million, it does not matter if they don't have all the weapons they need today. Over the long term you are going to lose this war as they ramp up and out produce you.

But of course you don't. Didn't you tell us the US military fought in Vietnam with one hand tied behind their backs. I wonder if the millions dead Vietnamese were of the same opinion.

That's probably one of the most omniscient comments made about the war.
