China's not going to do anything, except maybe intimidate a few members of CD Forum.
Lol, except that the US can't do that. I mean unless you want to crash the economy

Lots of individual companies are already reducing business with China.

Full boycott-pretty tough to do. But significant reduction, yes. And long term it would be a disaster for China. They depend on exports to western nations.

We get a cold, they get pnuemonia.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/...f-shell-hunger

For the Russia bots, Wagner chief talks about his enormous losses and the shortage of artillery shells. His forces are suffering massive casualties.

Imagine you will all say he is lying.

China survived. They didn't fall apart. I think they would survive Western sanctions too. The only question is do they think the risk is worth it, if they were to supply Russia with weapons?
China was the only major economy that grew during the pandemic of 2020.
They have food, they have factories, resources, partners, there will be no starving them out with sanctions. We can try though if we dare, as we shoot ourselves in the foot. We can make threats all we want, but if they decide it is in their interest to arm Russia, they will do it and simply allow nations to decouple from them if that is what they choose. Other nations will suck up a lot of their inventory, and raise their standards of living, while western nations scramble to figure out how to stem the bleeding.

I can't think of why that might matter.

For all I know they could have been supplying Russia with weapons and technical assistance.
Who says?...... China?!
What horsepooky.
China is falling apart as we speak. If they have been supplying Russia with "weapons and technical assistance" it only demonstrates the incompetence of both countries since together they have not been able to take down Ukraine.

if russia wins in the ukraine, putin will invade other countries around its border. if russia loses in the ukraine.....BOOM.
and this is why peace can only be achieved by Russians in Russia, IMO.

Peace can be achieved once Russia is driven out of Ukraine. Once Ukraine has military capability to keep Russia from attacking, Russia will have no choice but to give up. US/Europe, need to give Ukraine the full military capability to fight back, that is the only way they can win the war. Yes that meas giving them F16, long range rockets, air defense systems that can cover the major of large city's etc. Until and unless that happens, this war will not end.

Nonsense. They do not have enough arable land to feed their population and must import 65% of their fuel through the Straits of Mallaca, which they do not control.

Trading Economics expects China GDP of 2022 and 2023 both to decrease sequentially. Population collapse every year for the next 100 years will remove China from serious contention for world leader.

I disagree. The Russians will not stop until the losses are so great, that the Russian people will change their leadership.

Putin see this war as survival of the motherland.
