It's precisely because of people like Khodorkovsky words like "freedom and democracy" leave the bitter taste in Russians.
People like Khodorkovsky started vouching for the "rule of law," after they paved their way to owning the natural resources of Russia in the most thuggish and murderous manner. Apparently at that point Khodorkovsky was not concerned with the "rule of law" in the slightest.
Just saying.
giving tanks to Ukraine is certainly and escalator step in this proxy war. We are within a finger nail of this being a hot war with Nato which most of us do no want.
