And that means the war will probably end suddenly - war one day, withdrawal the next. That doesn't mean they won't come back, although it all depends on how Putin leaves and what internal struggles Russia is subjected to next. If the country split in two, politically, it may be a long time before we see it all settled.
So you think whoever pushes Putin out will end the war right there?

Or will it just all fall apart and soldiers wander home?

There's precedence - pretty much what happened in 1917. Except a bunch of the soldiers shot their officers, then wandered to the seat of government. With their guns.

I think it will fall apart and the army will abandon the war effort.
I would be surprised of some individual pushed Putin out and then replaced him. I expect more of a vacuum - that's why I think the leaderless army will dissipate.

Today, it was reported that Russia has cobbled together an unguided glide bomb. That allows the aircraft to release its bomb while still out of range of air defenses. Glide bombs work fine when they are guided, but unguided is the stuff of WW2.
Say, ya don't think Russia is running out of chips and stuff, do ya?

In terms of vehicles, this includes 50 of the M2 Bradley fighting vehicles. Should be great on the ground battles, where Russia is already barely making it.

50 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles with 500 TOW anti-tank missiles and 250,000 rounds of 25mm ammunition;
100 M113 Armored Personnel Carriers;
55 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPs);
138 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs);
18 155mm self-propelled Howitzers and 18 ammunition support vehicles;

I think they will either pull back or double down. Either they think Putin failed by starting an ill-advised war or failed because he didn't do enough to win it.

The man sends 100,000 of his best young men to their deaths in a foreign country and they have no recourse ... nothing they can say in their own defense. He does not care about them.

Putin is the worst form of scumbag, a disgusting POS - a walking pestilence upon the earth. His days are numbered and he knows it.

They have even locked people in buildings and burned them alive.
He conscripted every man 16 to 60 to fight, and would not let them leave. Over 300,000 are now dead or wounded.
Putin had offered Agreements to avoid all of it...they chose war instead.
However you describe Putin...is magnitudes superior to you and your ilk. So..your last paragraph...you are way below that, and would need to greatly improve to reach that level.
Anybody Putin's age...or Biden's age...are in the last stages of their life...SO...

Putin wants it restored...rightfully, in my view.

I call it The Ukraine. Don't like that? Cry about it.

Those that take issue with that, are like those that would take issue of a NDN Tribal Chief on a reservation, in the decades following the Trail-of-Tears. ..wanting back the territories the NDNs possessed before they were taken by swindle & force. And he plans to fight to get it back.
You and your ilk insult him & call him a "Savage" for wanting that...then note how many NDNs are no longer following those ways & traditions, with many now Christian, even...and tell them that "the NDN Tribal Man has failed".
You use that to justify labeling him a evil savage and telling him that it is wrong (and you will kill him) if he wants to try to get his Tribal Nation lands back.

The U.S. is very good at doing exactly what it is doing right now...in fact, it was founded by doing it.

Unless one understands the actual history, they will not be working off of anything except what they think about it based upon propaganda and a longterm biased narrative.
And that will also affect a reasonable assessment of the current situation.
People need to know the facts and past that got us to this point. .and what is actually occurring.
