Russia's threat to use nuclear weapons is not being well received anywhere. Well, Iran, maybe.
Seems like "Punkin Head" Putin is not getting invited out as often as he used to. India is like a few other countries and is playing it smart so as not to alienate those countries it may need later. Turkey is another smart one, but as it become more and more clear that Russia will ultimately lose, Turkey may find ways to act more and more like Europeans.
We will see a day, I think, when there are no Russian warships at all in the Black Sea. Turkey kept Russia's Mediterranean fleet out of the Black Sea for so long that they recently gave up and went back to St Petersburg.
Turkey is probably actually getting something of an economic benefit under current conditions. There are a good number of international companies that have moved their Russian operations and Russian employees ‘temporarily’ to different parts of Turkey in order to avoid disruption of business due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

According to Bloomberg news agency, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi won’t be holding the annual in-person summit with Vladimir Putin, apparently in response to Putin's threat to use nuclear weapons.
Modi's government abstained from UN votes to condemn Putin's war but also held back from participating in efforts to sanction Moscow, using the opportunity to snatch up cheap Russian oil.
The AN-124 has been used to shuttle back and forth to China.
It's a big plane and they have been operating without tracking devices, but what difference could they possible make in a war effort? Only 9 of them are tracked into China and that number of planes just won't make any difference.
Are they carrying pallet loads of money to be used by Putin and Co.? I wouldn't doubt it.
There is no advantage to anyone in winter, unless one of them is poorly equipped. And the Russians are.
The right weapons can make a difference. Ukraine's initial 12 HIMARS launchers made a huge difference. You also dismissed Iranian drones. The destruction of Ukraine's infrastructures caused by those drones proved that you were wrong.

They didn't destroy anything that could not be built back. And they did not turn the Ukrainian army around; Russia is still losing battles and territory.
Probably the right weapons in the right hands would have done it. But that isn't happening.

Modi, who has been playing both sides of the fence, apparently decided that photos of him chumming it up with Putin are just a poor idea.
The word "swarmy" comes to mind.
India is not in a position to buy more expensive oil for moral reasons. However, they always play both sides of the coin anyway to better their position. I think they’re getting the picture that Russia will not win this conflict and they won’t be the large supplier of fighter jets and missiles like they traditionally have been. Hell, Russia can’t even supply their hardware for their own war!
Looking at the ISW map today, seems to be a lot more movement on the Eastern front than we have seen in a while. Both sides seem to be making gains, but Ukrainians bigger ones.

HIMARs certainly helped, no denying that, but the Ukrainian military pushed the Russians away from Kyiv without them.
I'm not understanding why their allies don't just get the weapons and planes they need to them.
It occurred to me that perhaps those who spoke Russian were also acting like Russians and therefore pissed off their neighbors and hence the reason for the poor treatment.
But in a nation where tons of people speak Russian as well as Ukrainian, that some Russian speakers are disappointed they aren't treated better is just not news anyone is interested in.
In any case, it is no justification for what Russia is doing now to Ukraine.
You all realize, Volodymyr Zelensky can speak Russian, don't you? Despite that, he doesn't seem to be pining for Russia to again control Ukraine.

Russian is his first language if I'm not mistaken.
