Ignorance, stupidity and a gullible adherence to a lie perpetrated by a POS loser and professional con man does not mean that you are incapable of destroying public property, trampling the constitution, assaulting or killing public officials, or carrying out an insurrection or that you are immune from the consequences of those actions. The right is trying to down-play the events of January 6 as if it was a common peaceful protest when it was an armed assault on the capitol with the intent of destroying the constitutional process that governs presidential succession. What more do you need?
There was a clear conspiracy at work. Trump's performance clearly shows that it was carried out at his behest. He intentionally incited a crowd and told them to march on the capitol. Was that all -- or was that intended to be a cover, a distraction from the actions of those engaged in the conspiracy? The assault was already on the move before Trump unleashed the enraged rally protesters which diverted media attention from those who were already engaged. Taken together, that is an orchestrated and planned effort to usurp the constitutional process and an insurrection, at least. Clearly some were simply observers and some were the usual fools on an adventurous lark that got caught up in the events. But the event, itself, was not spontaneous and was an intentional and conspired attack on democracy perpetrated at the behest and benefit of Donald Trump.
CHAZ was not an insurrection attempting to overthrow the US government, it was a separatist initiative which rejected municipal authority in a limited area for a limited time.
Oh good lord. Way to demonize and canonize. One group of thugs is golden, the other is downright evil. Sure.
Nope. Business continued within both the state and federal governments during CHAZ.
Nothing much happened in my neck of the woods on Jan 6th either. Well, other than hyperventilating leftist newscasters having aneurysms on the news channels. Nothing shut down. People went on about their business... because they still had businesses to go to.

Seattle police boarded up and left the East Precinct building Monday night – and then a crowd of protesters set up barricades in the surrounding area, declaring it an “autonomous” and “cop-free zone.”

Oh my god.
Chaz was an insurrection against a public service called THE POLICE. They took over city blocks, displacing the police from their local station.
They usurped local laws and created their own AUTONOMOUS ZONE. Literally, that's what they called it!
They hardened the borders and used ARMED GUARDS with AR-15s that shot and KILLED trespassers.
THAT is an armed INSURRECTION.
If you can't even be honest about it, your ability to assess the situation is severely compromised.
And instead of a couple hours, their reign of terror went on for WEEKS.
I'll tell you what happened January 6th...the justification the left is going to use for every bit of rioting, looting and burning they choose to participate in this upcoming summer. No matter how bad it gets the left will hide behind the presumably impenetrable shield of "yeah but January 6th".
