Hasn’t the EU learned anything from Biden? Just make a COVID task force and it will magically go away, then you can just promise things will be normal by summertime.

Current reports indicate there is no connection between Adtra- Zeneca and clotting.

Australia bet the farm on this vaccine and have enough to vaccinate the entire population and as of now have no reservations.
No, it's not used in our country at all. We have Pfizer, Moderna and now J and J.

Yes and that took time to get to that point. That is what people don't understand with the logic you are using in your argument. I used a bandana with hair ties and air filters and let my parents have surgical masks. Why, this time a year ago, stock was low. It took many many months for mask stock, especially quality masks to be readily available. Many conservatives still attack the cloth masks and think that we all need N-95 masks and N-95s only. Not surgical, not cloth, not KN-95, just N-95's.

Again UK not EU.

The EU population is much larger than the USA. There numbers are 30% of America

I listed the vaccination numbers. The EU has vaccinated 1/3rd of what America has. Why argue that?

The UK ordered more vaccines at an earlier stage, and also produced it's own vaccine the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine.

The UK has an order of 100 million doses for the AstraZeneca vaccine which is manufactured at UK plants in Wrexham, Oxford and Keele.

60 million doses of the Novavax Vaccine will also be manufactured in the UK at Fujifilm Diosynth factory in Teesside.

A further 60 million vaccine doses relating to the Valneva vaccine have begun manufacturing in in Livingston, West Lothian.

The UK also ordered ordered -

40 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine

17 million doses of the Moderna vaccine

30 million doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

Any excess UK vaccines will be given to allies and third world countries.

The UK has spent over £12 Billion ($16.5 Billion USD) on vaccines so far.

The UK Government has recently further increased orders for some vaccines, and this amounts to around 400 million doses in all.

That's correct. When professional athletes in peak physical conditioning are forced to quarantine for testing positive, you know things are getting out of hand.

The flip side is coaches and support staff are often much older and higher risk. As well as the refs. And as long as its a private business doing this, they have that right. If it was government mandated I would be totally against it.

Pro and college athletes as well as those who work with them should have all been vaccinated early on. They are a small blip of the US population but provide needed entertainment.

If the poison doesn't make you better, take more poison. Err, get more vaccines.

I'm reading disturbing things about the Brazilian strain as well. Covid isn't political. Until we mitigate its effects, it will continue to spread through the population. I don't see it letting up at this point. Not sure how the US will deal with the upticks that are coming.

Between those with antibodies from defeating the disease and those who have been vaccinated we (USA) may be in MUCH better shape than Europe.
