What 2020 has taught me is that Blade Runner, The Running Man, Ready Player One, etc all those futuristic movies where life is miserable among all this technology with tech overlords who don't give a crap about real people is actually much much closer to us than we think and turns out to be a realistic scenario
Hormone-blockers can cause permanent damage to the development of pre-pubescent children
who take them.
Can? It's almost a 100% certainty they will
In girls, when given the doses of testosterone it permanently destroys the ability to have children later in life. And the lack of testicle development in boys means no viable sperm later in life
Man, oh man, the absurd grows by the hour.
It's quite concerning that parents would allow this, or seriously give weight to this idea.

Obviously, this pandemic and the ensuing results are evident, and becoming more frequent. People have literally gone berserk, and this headline is more evidence of it. We really need to get back to work and back on track. Indeed, the cure is worse than the disease.
The problem is, crazy people who were considered "outliers" 10 years ago have managed to get many of their crazy ideas mainstreamed into the public policy discussion, because nobody wants to argue with crazy people until it's too late.
Exactly. There's always some nut saying something weird.
Best not to give them any attention.
But they are given attention. The media slobbers all over these types. Anyone raising a contrary opinion is the given a scarlet letter, reputation clobbered and even their livelihoods threatened.
These practices are technically crimes against humanity and are punishable by law.
Unlike war crimes, crimes against humanity can be committed during peace or war. They are not isolated or sporadic events, but are part either of a government policy (although the perpetrators need not identify themselves with this policy) or of a wide practice of atrocities tolerated or condoned by a government or a de facto authority.
War crimes, murder, massacres, dehumanization, genocide, ethnic cleansing, deportations, unethical human experimentation, extrajudicial punishments including summary executions, use of weapons of mass destruction, state terrorism or state sponsoring of terrorism, death squads, kidnappings and forced disappearances, use of child soldiers, unjust imprisonment, enslavement, torture, rape, political repression, racial discrimination, religious persecution and other human rights abuses may reach the threshold of crimes against humanity if they are part of a widespread or systematic practice.
