There are 20 million people living in New York state...not sure what being from the same state as the president-elect has to do with anything.

The article clearly stated a few times that the parents were involved.

I'm guessing the person in the article was born a hermaphrodite?...and that the parents decided at birth to assign him male status. It says he was having menstrual problems, so I would assume female sex organs. If this is the case, I would support use of the medication to give the person time to sort things out. I can't imagine having to deal with that. It was confusing just reading the article.
