Is Texas still here? When is Governor Goodhair going to fulfill his promise to secede?
Asserting 10th amendment rights is simple a warning of secession. The federal government may wise up or it may say goodbye to Texas, and all of that black gold.
seriously. When our currency fails? When the bureaucrats socialize healthcare? When the supreme court rules the DC gun ban constitutional? When the government defaults on social security and medicare benefits?
When we attack other countries for no good reason? Oh, I forgot, we've been doing that since 1817.

Armed revolution is necessary when the government no longer is accountable to the people. When we no longer call them our "duly elected" leaders, and instead must refer to them just as "leader" or maybe "dear leader."

None of the things you cited are violations of any rights. In fact, they are the edifices of government function or malfunctioning as the founding fathers intended. If the majority of constituants want something, congress will act to create it. If the majority of constituants want something which is bad for the nation or unconstitutional, congress will be unable to write it into law as it either will not muster the votes necessary, will be vetoed by the president, or overruled by the supreme court.

The founding fathers were up in arms over a small tax on imported tea. Where's the civil disobedience at? Where are the protests? Where's our Boston Tea Party? Is America too apathetic and/or spineless to make a stand? Will we submit to fascism and totalitarianism of the federal bureaucracy? Or will we rally as our founding fathers did in an effort for our God given liberty? Who will make a stand with me?
You are welcome to act within the implicit contract your citizenship implies. You can protest, write your congressional representative, hold meetings, and run for office yourself so you can fix things.
If your rights are being violated, or in extreme cases you can refuse to comply with civil regulations in an effort to draw attention and effect rapid change in a dire situation.
However, so long as you are represented by elected officials, however, you are not sanctioned to go out and start physically attacking federal institutions. Those are the actions of a domestic terrorist.
The process of governing a constitutional republic is slow and frustrating. It takes a lot of patience, compromise, hard work, and preserverence to make any significant changes. So it requires that we all act as reasonable adults rather than petulant children. The founding fathers believed that their descendents and those who immigrated here would be able to comport themselves in such a manner. Try not to prove them wrong.
Whoa,
this thread started as a joke & it turned to be...comment leader...
Maybe many Amers are really angry from the gov pressure on them...
No, not "many Americans." Just a couple of people who hide behind screen names here on the internet. And half of them won't even list anything under "location." If there was any likelihood of a state actually planning to secede, you wouldn't have to go online to hear about it.

For a Public Official to advocate secession is Treason
But for that matter if Texas wants to go we should immediately close all of our Military Bases and Federal facilities there, just in case
Why should America have troops in Texas
