There are some, but Gays and Lesbians are 5 time more likely to have an attempted suicide in their past then Heterosexuals. In my mind suicidal people aren't exactly stable and shouldn't be raising children.
Now, if the the couple is normal and have no evidence of an unstable history in their past I would say the judge is wrong

The title of your thread is very misleading and quite over dramatic since this child is a foster child and can be removed from one foster home and placed into another foster legally and without the consent or approval of the foster parents.
As you pointed out the child in question is a foster child. What you missed, or conviently ignored, is the fact that the parents in question had to be approved in the first place to get the child. Obviously they met the qualifications or they wouldn't have gotten the child.
