Also there is no protected class its about treating everyone equal.
The legislation under discussion is about treating people equal.
You are not treating someone equally when you force them against their will to do something that to them is morally reprehensible.
Equal treatment for all exists when free market principles prevail.
All business owners should be able to run their business as they see fit.
Face the facts SunnyKayak, there are enough bakers and wedding photographers out there who will have no problem willingly providing their service at two homosexuals ceremony.
There is absolutely no reason to bring force of law upon a service provider who has moral misgivings about participating in such a ceremony.
The only reason why the gay army is opposing the legislation that protects people who have moral and religious principles is to shove homosexual "marriage" down everybody's throat and force acceptance of homosexual lifestyles and gay sex.
It has nothing to do with "equality" and everything to do with heavy-handed tyranny.
When you shove something down someone's throat, are you really surprised when they gag?
How is it not true? Let's look at some protected classes:
Race - everybody has a race.
Sex - everybody has a sex.
National Origin - everybody has a national origin.
Sexual Orientation - everybody has a sexual orientation.

Yes, except white males are not a "protected" class, are they?
Nor does he wish them to be.
Harrier simply wants the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause to be implemented correctly, which means that no one should receive special treatment over and beyond what is given to any other U.S. citizen.
Harrier has never heard of "national origin" being a protected class.
Could you state which national origins are protected and which are excluded from such special protection?
There is no such thing as sexual orientation, but there is sexual preference.

White males are protected under two different classes - both race and sex.

It was one of the original protected classes established by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

You don't seem to understand what a protected class is. ALL national origins are protected under the protected class of "National Origin." Neither a government nor a business of public accommodation can discriminate against any person because of that person's national origin - no matter what that national origin is.

If what you say is true than there should be no reason for a "protected class" to exist, since you are describing what the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment was meant to do.
The fact is that the term in practice, "protected class" is used to give special rights to certain people, and to exclude other people from such rights.

Equality is for everyone it is not a protected class, it does not give anyone special rights.

What I say is absolutely true.
And, again, you need to do a little more research. "Protected Classes" and the 14th Amendment aren't really related issues. The 14th Amendment only covers government action and government actors.
"Protected Classes" covering businesses of public accommodation (which originated in the Civil Rights Act of 1964) didn't come from any 14th Amendment power. They come from Congress' Commerce Power (an Article 1, Section 8 power).

That's not true at all.
