However the legislation which all have fail except Minnesota which is pending.

Also there is no protected class its about treating everyone equal.

Only ones that want protected class is bigots in the disquise of religion.

The bible does not say you cant serve gay lesbian bisexual, transgender, handicap, black.
You can deny reality all you like, that still will not change the fact that there are indeed "protected classes" in the US. These protected class "Super Citizen's" rights supersedes the rights of all other regular citizens.

Protected class - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
They don't have rights others don't have. They are "protected classes" in order to make sure they get those equal rights that everyone else has since it was previously denied to them.

Laws already exist to ensure that everyone is treated equally.

When you create protected classes, you are granting special rights not provided to people outside the class.

That is discrimination.

Exactly!

So why do we have laws designating protected classes that give members of the class special rights?

They day is not far away when the federal government monitors church services to ensure that certain subjects are not broached. The penalties will be severe. For instance, it will be a "hate crime" to discuss homosexuality as an abomination to God. It will be a hate crime to equate abortion to murder. It will be a hate crime to say that it is a perversion for adults to have sexual relations with children. It will be a hate crime to say that humans having sexual relations with animals is "confusion". It will be a hate crime to say that abusing your body with drugs/alcohol/tobacco is destroying God's temple, it will be a hate crime.......

Eliminating child labor laws would benefit a lot of poor people.

Personally I don't think churches or clergy should be forced to do something they disagree with on moral opinions. I don't agree with their reasoning, as I am very vocal in condemning the picking and choosing Old Testement law in order to hate against other human beings, but I don't agree they should be forced to perform ceramonies.

Businesses shouldn't descriminate on the basis of what people are born with.
So you think a business owner must throw his religion out in order to run his business?

Yes that is true, equality does not give anyone special rights. But we don't have equality. Some groups have special protections. That's not equality.

Definition of Protected Class
archives.gov:
Quote:
Protected Class: The groups protected from the employment discrimination by law. These groups include men and women on the basis of sex; any group which shares a common race, religion, color, or national origin; people over 40; and people with physical or mental handicaps. Every U.S. citizen is a member of some protected class, and is entitled to the benefits of EEO law. However, the EEO laws were passed to correct a history of unfavorable treatment of women and minority group members.

Of course they do, and they demonstrated that fact when the courts ruled that the rights of protected class citizens superseded the rights of regular citizens. You need to wake up and face reality. There are two kinds of citizens in the US now, regular citizens and the protected class Super Citizens.
