We still have a constitution, so stop trying to step on it. Read it, understand it, love it, live by it. If you dont agree, move out!
Why do you think these drug cartels don't just purchase their guns from Mexico? Why do they go to the trouble of smuggling them across the border?

Wasn't the Fast and Furious program merely practicing their constitutional rights? Why the fuss?

Because we make and sell the best guns in the world.

When the Mexican people finally get sick of this then they will appreciate the ability to get our guns.

The situation in good ol' Mejico is a prime example of the 2nd's effectiveness.

Thanks for providing the evidence.

The "fuss" is about the AG and POTUS illegally aiding and abetting criminals by allowing flow of illegal firearms so they could use the incident to promote gun control. They should be impeached for that. I don't know why the story hasn't appeared in the media lately. It could be due to the fact that Obama is so inept and incompetent that they've moved on to his many other failures and gaffes. BTW: deflection fail.

THEY DO NOT HAVE THE 2ND AMENDMENT AND DO DO NOT HAVE THE FREEDOMS WE DO.

Mexican citizens can't defend themselves like we can. That is a right worth fighting for, NOT to take away.

Mexican drug cartels have constitutional rights? The fail is really starting to pile up now.

Maybe the Mexican citizens can also buy some guns from the US to protect themselves from the drug cartels who buy their guns from the US.

The right to not have universal background checks on everyone who buys guns in the US.

The sales you speak of are very illegal. Try being a US citizen and selling one in this nature and see what happens.

Of course our guns will be popular to Mexico. Look who boarders us and the free access they have to our county.

Some citizens of Mexico do buy them from the US. Also, an ILLEGAL sale.

As always, laws are not going to stop this. Add more, add all the laws you want, and the same problems will occur.

The answers to the problems are actually simple. Not quick, nor cheap, but simple.

There is already background checks. No store, pawnshop, online store, gunshop, etc will sell one without one.

Now you are going to deal with private sales. How do you expect that to work. Think the cartel will care about the law abiding folk getting background checks?

They are trafficking guns! They dont care about background checks because they are dealing with legal sales.

These would be like straw purchases which are illegal already.

Again, laws that wont work.
