Hezbollah comes to the US

The growing nexus between Hizballah and Mexican drug cartels allows the Iran-backed extremist group to make use of drug cartel transit routes to gain entry into the United States through its porous border with Mexico. Hizballah, in turn, offers Mexican syndicates expertise on smuggling and explosives as well as access to its drug trafficking networks in the Middle East and South Asia.

Iran-backed Hizballah and Mexican drug syndicates share “the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts,” former DEA operations chief Michael Braun told the Washington Times. “They rely on the same shadow facilitators. One way or another they’re all connected.”

Braun also alleged that members of Iran’s Quds Force are “commanding and controlling” Hizballah’s criminal operations in Latin America.

Not good.

A lawsuit was filed by the U.S. government against a group of overseas banks Dec. 15 in U.S. District Court in New York. It names Cedar Exports & Auto Sales at 7787 Eastgate Blvd. as part of a nationwide network of auto dealers who received money from an international money laundering concern with ties to drug traffickers, some of whom are supporters of Hezbollah.

Not good.

This isn't anything new, but it is a cause for great concern. Especially when you consider this:

1. Hugo Chavez opened a Spanish language school for his Iranian buddies and/or other Arab speakers several years ago, while Bush was still President.

2. The average American would be hard pressed to tell the difference between a person from the Middle East and a Mexican, especially if that ME person spoke fluent Spanish.

No. It's not physically possible. Just the lower 48 have a combined border and coastline of about 19,000 miles. Adding Alaska and Hawaii about doubles it. We don't have enough soldiers, Border Patrol and cops to "secure" even a fraction of it.
