As I see it, what Hillarys right hand man did by changing the talking points to protect the State Dept, is criminal. She should be brought up in charges.

State Department spokesman Victoria Nolan
feared they would be exposed for ignoring security warnings. So, their decision was to lie to the public. And this also shows, they knew all along they didn't have enough security, yet did nothing.

And remember Rice's other lie that gets over looked. She said Benghazi had adequate security which is a blatant lie.

The job of a father is not to be a slavish provider. The job of the father of a nation is to protect that nation...to protect every last citizen from harm...including every last citizen sent abroad that represents that nation. There is a playboy in the White house.

Republicans challenge Dempsey, Panetta over Benghazi response | The E-Ring
Dempsey faced perhaps the toughest public criticism of his career over claims that the U.S. military was amply positioned in the Middle East to respond to any crisis, yet proved unable to respond in time in Benghazi.
..
“General Ham actually called the embassy to see if they wanted to extend the special security team there and was said -- and was told no,” the chairman said. That account was contained in Ham’s weekly reports to Dempsey, the chairman said.
..
“There's a base at Souda Bay, Crete, general,” McCain said. “There's a base there. It's about an hour-and-a-half flight,” questioning Panetta’s claim that military aircraft with adequate support would have required 9 to 12 hours to reach Benghazi that day.
Intelligence in the middle east will never be an exact science, if it was that easy it would not have taken 10 years to kill Ben Laden. What exactly was coming from Souda Bay in Crete, what type of aircraft, what type of force.

You missed the entire quote, I guess that suits your needs, I highlighted the most important points in her statement.

Clinton: With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator. Now, honestly, I will do my best to answer your questions about this, but the fact is that people were trying in real time to get to the best information. The IC has a process, I understand, going with the other committees to explain how these talking points came out. But you know, to be clear, it is, from my perspective, less important today looking backwards as to why these militants decided they did it than to find them and bring them to justice, and then maybe we’ll figure out what was going on in the meantime.

You get a security warning - that diplomats and their staff are under threat. Hillary and Obama are notified and for some reason don't believe such things are important. *It's much like having some people camped in the arctic on government business...and they send a message that there are 30 hungry polar bears surrounding the camp. In the minds of Obama and Hillary - through their ears all they heard was bear and not bears. They were disconnected and too busy thinking about drinks before dinner.

They got a warning about the demonstrations in Cairo and had their people not go to work the next day.
So they knew about movie protests but not a terrorist attack.

Problem is, you are wrong, on several counts. Victoria *Nuland* is actually a career worker at the Department of State, and not "Hillary's right hand man". And editing talking points is standard procedure, and is not in any way criminal.

I'll keep it simple for you. Nuland changed the entire tone, removing all references to Al-Quaeda and terrorist attacks from the talking points. Below is one example. Jay Carney at first said there was one tiny change, then said the change was stylistic.

If you want to know the truth you really need to start listening.

--

“The Agency has produced numerous pieces on the threat of extremists linked to al-Qa’ida in Benghazi and eastern Libya. These noted that, since April, there have been at least five other attacks against foreign interests in Benghazi by unidentified assailants, including the June attack against the British Ambassador’s convoy. We cannot rule out the individuals has previously surveilled the U.S. facilities, also contributing to the efficacy of the attacks.”

In an email to officials at the White House and the intelligence agencies, State Department spokesman Victoria Nuland took issue with including that information because it “could be abused by members [of Congress] to beat up the State Department for not paying attention to warnings, so why would we want to feed that either? Concerned …”
