You demand the government takes more and more from those other people over there, because they have more than you do.
Where does that come from?
That kind of thinking comes from the mind of a socialist who really believes that "you didn't built that". Sad thinking but very true coming from people who have been trained to be socialist thinkers.
Why do you feel entitled to share in someone else's financial success?
I don't feel "entitled" to share in the financial success of others, but it happens all the time. When my credit union is successful, they are able to make loans more readily, and generally at a lower interest rate, and they are able to pay more interest on money deposited there. When my local grocery store is financially successful, I benefit from paying lower prices via good sales, and also by being able to walk to the grocery store rather than driving to another, more distant store, thus saving me money in gas & vehicle wear and tear.
As for your other question,
You demand the government takes more and more from those other people over there, because they have more than you do.
Where does that come from?
History. Progressive taxation in this country goes back to Abe Lincoln and the Revenue Act of 1862.
I don't. I'm happy enough with what I earn. I could have made choices that would have me earning more but I didn't want the stress or extra hours -- so I'm fine with those who want the money to have it if they do wish to make all the sacrifices they make to get that money.
And money really doesn't buy happiness. It's okay to be middle class where you have all the basics and a few extras. For me -- I didn't want to take the risks that others will take by going for certain promotions, I know for a fact I could be in a higher paying job but it wouldn't be the kind of work I prefer.
What's with the leading questions on this forum:
Why do you feel entitled...?
Obama is a communist, why do you support him...?
Why do Republicans dislike economic success...?
What kind of idiotic questions are these? They sound like the Inquisition.

yes, but history also shows that the United States was formed because of too much taxation. The government should only tax people enough to pay for basic stuff. Not abortions, gay rights, experimental green energy, UN membership dues, west african salamaders, secret service prostitution, pelosi parties, 1000 weeks of unemployment benefits, free cell phones, illegal immigrants, etc.
"I cannot undertake to lay my finger
on that article of the Constitution
which granted a right to Congress of expending,
on the objects of benevolence,
the money of their constituents." James Madison (1751-1836), Father of the Constitution for the USA, 4th US President]1792, in disapproval of Congress appropriating $15,000 to assist some French refugees
I don't feel entitled to their money. I hope people make oodles of money.
But they have to pay taxes on it. I have to. The rich have to. I then have the right (not entitlement) to drive on the roads our combined tax dollars built. Simple. You make money then you pay Ceasar what is due Ceasar. If you don't like what Ceasar asks you to pay then be sure to vote.
