Who cares what they think. USA is a country a NATION. If you guys want to say that there was some bigotry here go ahead, that's the correct word to use. It is not racist however.
I thought this was an onion gag but apparently not. Chanting USA is now racist in this PC "I'm offended" utopia created by the left handed lunatics. The country has gone insane.
"But it was just after the trophy presentation when the coach was not proud of the chant coming from Alamo Heights fans."USA, USA, USA," they chanted.
San Antonio Independent School District officials took the chant as a racial insult to a school with all minority players from a school with mostly white ones."
Now the comments from those who are teaching our children..........
"We just hope that people know that that's not who we are and we're not going to let it happen again," Brown said.
Alamo Heights has apologized to SAISD and the students identified will also have to apologize and have been banned from the state title games.
"We think that you have to earn a right to be there and that's not a reflection of our school district," Brown said.
Both districts are now just trying to move past this disturbing incident."
If your offended by somebody chanting USA then perhaps you should leave this dreaded land where nothing is fair. The left is in full fledged play the victim mode and I'm offended mode about anything and everything nowdays. I'm sure they were just mad that the game wasn't deemed a tie and everybody got a trophy to begin with but to chant USA is beyond reprehensible in their eyes. I'm glad I don't have to run around looking for things to be offended about all day long. Makes for a long day. I figure folks are talking about me all the time behind my back anyway so why bother. It's called reality something the left has no idea how to live in.
I can't wait till they find a photo or video of the other side waving Mexican flags....
If that were the case then this wouldn't be an issue IMO. But like I said, I wasn't there.
Not everything that sounds good actually is. Like the old joke about Southern Belles saying "well bless your heart" while making it obvious in every other way that they disaprove of everything about you.
I can't believe in this liberal PC country of ours they actually have winners and loosers anymore.... I thought all kids nowadays just got a "yeah for me, I participated trophy" and there are no losers cause that would be bad for their little egos and self worth..... It is indeed the pussification of a nation!!!
I will ALWAYS fly my flag and say the pledge of alliegence and shout USA when I damm well feel like it.... If you have a problem with that, come tell me and we'll settle it like MEN!!!!
Implying that another team full of American minorities is not from the USA seems racist to me.
How many of those kids were illegal aliens taking advantage of the great education we give to them no matter how they got here? Did they say anything about that on the link or did you just play your normal game?
