I don't expect most teenagers to be logical. Just as I don't expect most adults to make a story out of this.

They essentially said "you are not real Americans, we are because we are white."

Why else would they chant it? It makes literally no sense.

Nothing more to see here than excusing racism and fear mongering, typical of the left wing.

Nationalism is a horrible disease.

Now the comments from those who are teaching our children..........

"We just hope that people know that that's not who we are and we're not going to let it happen again," Brown said.

Alamo Heights has apologized to SAISD and the students identified will also have to apologize and have been banned from the state title games.

"We think that you have to earn a right to be there and that's not a reflection of our school district," Brown said.
Both districts are now just trying to move past this disturbing incident."

Way to try and spin this into someone mad about USA being shouted. Its obvious if they were playing another all white school they would not have shouted that. I don't think they would shout it at an all black school even. Whats disturbing is that these kids are going to get all the breaks and use their power to really destroy minority families someday.

It exists all across the country. Not just in the schools. Look at this forum as a perfect example.

Yes I know why. Because people are inherently drawn to their own as well as they are inherently cautious of all things different. It's how people are raised. Kids are born without prejudice. they either learn it from experience or they are taught by their parents the same prejudices they have.

When Alamo Heights won the game, their fans chanted USA USA ( I guess as a comeback) My brother was there as he is a scorer for the district. We were both surprised this is even a news story....just the media machine hyping up nothing.
If that is true then I can see why the chant happened. The OP did not say this though.
