What’s up with these Marines lately. First pissing on dead bodies now this? Is the constant duty rotations leaving no time for common since? If these guys were in my unit I would have slapped the **** out of them.

Good point, there are symbols in use all over where people are ignorant to how SOME have used them. Since these guys are military, at least a few of them should have recognized the SS symbol and put the kebosh on it.
Cameron Diaz - purse debacle in south america would be one example where she had a chinese purse with the star on it but that symbol was used by the shining path terrorists etc etc.
MSNBC reaches back to 2010 smear US Marine Scout Snipers
So, this photo was taken in 2010, the Marine Corps has addressed the issue, the marines in the photo are no longer with the unit, and MSNBC still ran this as though it qualified as news. Seriously?
Knowing that MSNBC reports nothing without the Obama administration handing them the script, it would seem MSNBC is doing the bidding for the Obama administration to smear our US Marine Corps.
SAN DIEGO -- The U.S. Marine Corps confirmed Thursday that a sniper team in Afghanistan posed for a photograph in front of a flag with a logo resembling that of the notorious Nazi SS.
Use of the SS symbol is not acceptable, and the Marine Corps has addressed the issue, Lt. Col. Stewart Upton said in a statement. He did not specify what action was taken.
Upton said the Marines in the photograph, posted on an Internet blog, are no longer with the unit. The picture was taken in September 2010 in Sangin province, Afghanistan.

Didn't even bother to read the story or you would know that had already been done.
