This is interesting to say the very least....
(let's watch the repubs wiggle through this one)
Democratic and Jewish organizations are pushing House Speaker John Boehner to return donations from a "Nazi enthusiast" who ran for Congress last year but was defeated in part because of the revelation he wore a German SS uniform while taking part in several Nazi re-enactments.
Rich Iott, who ran as a Republican for Ohio's 9th Congressional District seat last year against incumbent Democrat Marcy Kaptur, donated $2,400 to Boehner's campaign, reported Washington Jewish Week

He should keep the money and laugh in the persons face for donating to someone who doesn't believe in the same thing he does. If the enemy is dumb enough to donate, keep the money and put it too good use.

How exactly is this a Republican thing? Lots of people give money to political campaigns. The candidates don't exactly do extensive background checks on each and every one of them. The guy could have just as easily given to a Democrat. Making this partisan makes no sense.

Oh, fer chrissakes; so the guy is a re-enactor, who accoutures himself in what I assume to be Waffen-SS uniform & equipment. That does NOT make him a Nazi, or Nazi sympathizer.
I'm not a fan of re-enacting, which has grown tremendously over the years, especially for the Civil War. and WWII. Seeing 250lb.+ 50 year olds portraying lean & mean Confederate troops, or Wehrmacht soldiers seems a bit over the top to me, but it's harmless fun, and does keep history alive for some.
Unless this supporter is a confirmed member of some Neo-Nazi group, this should be a non story. Now, if he was a re-enactor in say, a WWII Soviet NKVD uniform, or Japanese Kempeitai uniform, would THAT be a story? Methinks the clueless, oh so PC mainstream media wouldn't make a freakin' peep!
I saw Tom Cruise in a Nazi uniform not that long ago. Didn't he donate to Obama?
I'm certain he gave money to the annointed one; as long as his handlers at Scientology HQ said it was OK! I believe his uniform was a size 36 extra short.
Let's see, the list of actors who wore German or " Nazi" uniform; Marlon Brando, James Mason, Michael Caine, James Coburn, John Gavin, Richard Burton, George Sanders,Richard Boone, Gregory Peck, and many more. Closet Nazi's, I tell ya, all of 'em!
