Just another dumb move by the government. Yes it was a mistake and they should be accounted for it...

Oh come on now, you're just angry that the President continues to make the Repubs look to foolish to the American people. I would say, you may want to get used to that. It will like last til Nov or beyond, depending on when the GOP decides, doing their job is more important than the next election money raising.

We're not going to vote on anything. We're not going to be around at all or conduct any business. But we'll SAY we aren't in recess, and then he won't be able to do it!"

"So let me get this straight - we won't be there, but we'll say we're there even though we're not there and we're not disputing that we're not actually there?"

"Totally!"

"Brilliant!"

Schoolyard BS.

In other words: Politics as usual

Roy, my memory betrayed me again; for some reason I thought that the episode with Lewinsky happened much earlier, and that it was his dealings with Ms. Jones which led to him being impeached.

I don't know if impeaching Obama would do the GOP any good anyway, since the liberal press will rush to protect him even more than they've done given his string of multiple failures (domestically and internationally) since his inauguration.

I do expect the Democrats to lose the Senate come November; losing the White House would be divine.

Just more political BS. This was nothing more than gamesmanship by the GOP to block ANY appointment to a department they don't want existing in the first place. Stop this contentious crap and work together to serve the American people. Three years of nothing but grandstanding by both parties. And who suffers? We do!!!!
