Does that blog give you your opinion every day or just today?
It's obvious you haven't read any of the comments. Bush's recess appointments were perfectly legal because Congress was actually in recess.

Obama's appointments are unconstitutional because Congress was not in recess. According to Article I, Section V of the U.S. Constitution:

"Neither House, during the Session of Congress, shall, without the Consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other Place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting."

This means that the House and Senate must both agree to be on recess. If not, they are not adjourned. The House did not agree to be on recess, which is why you had them gavel in and out for 20 seconds every three days.

With all this talk about impeachment, it highlights how the GOP knows they can't beat Obama at the ballot box.

Senate was in a 2 month recess and was legal to appoint Bolton. The senate as already been proven was not in recess and therefore the appointment did violate the Constitution

True. The question may ultimately have to be answered by the Courts, but here is a pretty good opinion on the issue.

Impeachment is the logical step for violating the Constitution. Obama can be impeached for abusing or exceeding the powers of the office.

False. ONLY the Senate "advises and consents" on Presidential appointments.

"I know what we'll do! OK, so here's the plan: We're all going to leave Washington. We're going to go home to our families for the holidays. We're not going to show up for work. We're not going to vote on anything. We're not going to be around at all or conduct any business. But we'll SAY we aren't in recess, and then he won't be able to do it!"

"So let me get this straight - we won't be there, but we'll say we're there even though we're not there and we're not disputing that we're not actually there?"

"Totally!"

"Brilliant!"

Schoolyard BS.
Brilliant!!

Having one senator show up in the chamber, bang the gavel and stand around for five minutes and then go home does not a session make.
The players got played.

The question becomes does violating the constitution be considered as high treason. The process of impeachment is for the house to make the articles of impeachment which then would have the president impeached. To remove him from office the senate must find him guilty the articles of impeachment which will not happen. So like Clinton he could be impeached but would not be removed from office

I didn't mention the advise and consent role, so I don't see how what I said was false.

Bush did recess appointments.

As did most presidents.

Try: Impeach Obama, he doesn't wear a jacket in the Oval Office!

Impeach Obama he wears swim trunks.

Impeach Obama, he bought a purebred dog!

I know it is hard for some to grasp the facts.

There is nothing wrong with recess appointments. Congress is/was NOT in recess according to the Senate leader, harry reid. Get it?
