I wish this thread had a poll. I bet most Americans would support the forcible excision of Texas from the union.

At this point in time, there is no other State in the union, that could be self sufficient.
Losing Texas, would be an economic nightmare for the rest of the nation.

Texans can't even join common cause with Americans in the sport of competitive bearding. Anyone else watch Whisker Wars? The Texas team wants to split from Beard Team USA. I think BTUSA should kick them out. Their beards suck anyhow.
