Maybe instead of trying to carve out our own country and restore freedom to just our hunk of North America, we should be encouraging the OTHER guys to secede.
Maybe we should be encouraging others to secede

There are other states who are willing to secede. Maybe we need to get out while we can before Texas gets sucked up into this mess. I prefer God & Country + Freedom. Marxist & Socialism is not in my vocabulary. If we have to fight then so be it,what better way too, than protecting our freedoms for our family, God & Country.
As of right now until that happens I will keep voting these communist out. If you do not like what I say, then here is a quarter,go find someone else who cares.

GOD BLESS TEXAS & THE MILITARY
BRING IT ON YOU SOCIALIST & MARXIST
I AM READY FOR A GOOD FIGHT

Marxism failed once- It cannot be compared or intertwined with 'socialism' - western Europe has 'social democracies' meaning duly elected democratic governments, with extensive social safety nets- and a thriving private sector that is more regulated then in the USA.

The far right- or shall I say what many feel are 'real Americans' for 'real American values' believe in a 'Para military state' that is one of the hallmarks of Fascisim

as in the case of that definition- the post WW II version 'Neo-Fascism' which is far worse then the Social Democracies' of Western Europe, and is more closely related to Fascist Italy, Germany and Spain in the 1930s by political and historical definition.

Actually, they love it. Just as other leftist ideologies such as fascism, theocracy, monarchy, marxism, etc. Any system relying on government hegemony over its citizens is considered left of center. It is an illusion that any form of government control is somehow "right of center". There are only two forms of legitimate government: oligarchy or republic. Anarchy & democracy are transitional stages and monarchy never existed (its governed by a council of dukes and earls).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_banking

"Islamic banking has the same purpose as conventional banking except that it operates in accordance with the rules of Shariah, known as Fiqh al-Muamalat (Islamic rules on transactions). The basic principle of Islamic banking is the sharing of profit and loss and the prohibition of riba(usury). Common terms used in Islamic banking include profit sharing (Mudharabah), safekeeping (Wadiah), joint venture (Musharakah), cost plus (Murabahah), and leasing (Ijarah)."

Isn't it strange that when you go to the internet, most of the states are a hairsbreadth away from secession...but for some reason, it's not that way in the real world?

Yup - that's because the internet is overloaded with loonies (wayyyyyyyyy out of proportion when compared to real life). All those ignorant "internet tough guys" out there in truth have NO CLUE as to what they would be in for if they actually got what they are asking for.

A distinction without a difference. It's about power, not ideology.

I'd rather not join the ranks of the disillusioned morons in the mainstream who "couldn't see the financial crisis coming". Now they're broke and I'm not.
