Yes, a guy who has sex and fails to use a condom IS risking his financial future, since a baby costs an incredible amount of money to birth and raise, and when the mother can't afford it on her own (and they rarely can, since the workforce is paid so little now), society in the form of taxpayers must pay for it.
Even with two parents, taxpayers and insurance ratepayers heavily subsidize children in our society, since public education is ridiculously expensive and health care for kids is also. But even with the multiple subsidies woven into modern life, children are a HUGE financial burden on the parents.
Consequently, BOTH men and women need to be 100% careful and NEVER take a risk, or else they may find themselves forfeiting all their money and all their time, for the next 20 years minimum, in a lifestyle that isn't nearly as rewarding as the "snapshot" moments might lead some to believe.
