Why would they be made to go to mental hospitals when it's been proven that homosexuality is not a negative mental condition?

Also: I agree with government not being involved in marriage.

Government should only be involved in civil unions/domestic partnerships.

No matter what the gender, no matter how many want to enter the contract.

Leave marriage to the religions. Which some do allow for gay marriage. IIRC.

Well they aren't going to mental hospitals.
And I don't care if the government is involved with marriage or not. You can get right on that if you like.

I don't even understand why government is even in marriage? Someone care to explain that to me?
Please provide a source [preferably something from the American Psychiatric/Psychological Associations] that qualify your mental disorder statement.

then maybe people will take you seriously, because there is a certain "b" word that is on the tip of my tongue, directed right at you.

Marriage can be a privilege ONLY if its tax/inheritance implications are removed entirely from the IRS code. Otherwise, it cannot be defined as a privilege since it necessitates inequality.

Actually neither I just don't agree. I know that's a foreign term to you someone who doesn't agree with everything liberals believe in.

Oh that poster is just trolling. You can tell by the post count and history. It's fun to play but don't take it seriously.

The marrying dogs and children strawman are possibly the weakest argument's I've heard. Consent is not given in either case. Kids and dogs lack the necessary cognitive skills necessary to understand the ramifications.

Why should they be involved in civil unions/DP either? I don't see why personally. If that was the case then then we would have never had the debate over it. I hate government in my life and it pisses me off I have to get permission to marry who I want but I also hate homosexuals complaining constantly. Why not try and get government out of marriage instead of trying to get government to acknowledge something they don't want to?
