Lets keep things in perspective shall we. Look at the crime thread on the Philly forum. Yes, I have done a TON with youth programs when I was younger and I also am the only one that has suggested things that can be done, like opening up all the school gyms in the city to get kids active playing sports and keeping kids busy, but it falls on deaf ears. What have you done? Nothing I am sure. You just don't like to see local news. Why? The first step in solving any problem is to define the problem. Pretending it isn't going on, solves what? Let's just have some common sense. Look at the Philly thread here. It has over 238,000 views and 4,500 responses! This little thread has 19,900 views and 749 responses! No one on the Philly board complains. Why are you complaining? You don't have to click on it you know. You can put me on ignore. Why do you care?

Nobody enjoys the violence.
But by speaking up, maybe we can change some opinions which may help change policies. Maybe when we see the death and destruction unleashed and share news about it, the Woke Mob will engage in some critical thinking skills instead of parroting whatever Woke Twitter tells them to.

Is it not a coincidence that we're seeing such a surge in youth gun violence after Antwon Rose? He was a punk. He engaged in a driveby shooting with his buddies and they tried to kill another young man. But when he ran from the cop and was stopped - Woke Pittsburgh canonized him. He's now become a Social Justice Saint and everyone knows his name. People tried to crucify the cop who shot him.
Nobody spoke out against the violent act that he engaged in that led to his death. To have done so was "RACIST"

What would the outcome have been if the narrative was different?
Antwon hung out with some bad guys, they used guns illegally to try to murder someone, and he got killed because of the choices he made. His death shouldve been a warning and used as a deterrent to others who were going down the same path.

Instead its taboo to talk about his sins, hes celebrated as an angel, and everyone knows his name. Its sick, to be honest.

An innocent black boy gets murdered by another black boy, and his name is forgotten in a week when the next black boy gets murdered.
A gangbanger black boy gets killed by a police officer after he and his homies bust a cap at another black boy, and everyone is outraged that the gangbanger got killed.
Its an extremely sick value system.

Furthermore, how can people take seriously any efforts to combat youth gun violence when those youth who commit gun crimes are released on house arrest because in Rich Fitzgerald and Willy McKain's infinite wisdom, they closed Shuman juvenile detention center?

There was a mall shootings that was north of Butler at Clearview Mall. Everyone involved was white if that makes a difference to people. I think most want to see kids grow up without shooting each other. It is crazy right now. Do we pretend it isn’t happening? Not a good idea unless you want more deaths.

Here is the mall shooting. Drug deal gone bad it seems and it is pretty far away, but it happened. So you don't have to go way back like a year ago to find some white idiot doing something violent.
