Not surprised. The Walmart is rundown and filthy. It's as bad as a nuisance bar. Local officials should shut it down.

Wish that whole place would be torn down. It is so dangerous. No one from fc and O’Hara shop there as it is nuts. Ton of theft and just a horrible vibe. I drive up north to get things I need.

Waterworks is just...weird. I like the shopping center overall. but i know what you mean - every other business there and you have seemingly normal people (as normal as can be for 2021) - the Eagle, the ice cream place, 5 Guys, and so on.

then you get to that wal-mart, in the same shopping strip and yet feels like the steel valley communities. just sh* expressions, misery, no pride....and no, not based on race - just the customers' attitudes and demeanor. the people that work there arent busting their butts to get anything done in there, either. its a dirty store, by comparison.

retail, i think anyway, is about building loyalty from customers, isnt it? i know people who are committed to Home Depot and NOT Lowes because of the lack of customer service, technical help, or whatever that they say they experienced.

You're right.. the WalMart and some of the discount clothing stores all have the same vibe. But other places don't - the Market District is nice, Barnes & Noble is there, Italian Village People isn't a ghetto-feeling pizza place, the cinema seems to have gotten better, the McDonalds never had a weird vibe.. just a handful of stores. Luckily the Target on McKnight Road isn't too much further away from the Waterworks Wal-Mart, if I need that type of shopping.

I don’t get the North Side. I think if you would want to live in the city it has the best setup. Road accessible is good, nice big city park, nice variety of housing. Why is it an endless hot mess there?
