Ah ignorance is certainly bliss. I was having a drink after work today and heard some younger girl talking about the pumpkin throwing guy in Bloomfield. I just turned and mentioned some guy getting shot at point blank range for walking down the street with a pizza in the South Side. She looked at me like I was from Pluto.
She doesn't watch news. Probably reads Reddit that is an echo-chamber and is totally fake in every way.

For all of the grief we conservatives give 'the community' for not doing enough to stop violence, here is a well-written and uplifting story about MAD DADS - which is a community group that does try to stop gun violence here in Pittsburgh. Kudos to them for their big hearts, and their big balls.
