Some people just don't venture out much to know what they're talking about in certain areas...and the majority of the posts I read about the burbs couldn't be further from the truth.

I'm sure you know that includes studio apartments. The median price of current listings with at least 2BR in the NASD is 399,900.

Lots of "if"/s there. Nobody specified home specifications. Only your figures/assumptions of pricing which aren't right.

You're right. You can totally raise your family in a 1br condo in McCandless and not be on the low end of the NASD housing market.

That's not how data works. The first link in my last reply shows ALL the current listings and actually shows the median price (399,900 for units with at least 2br).

Until $650k is mid-tier as you said, it doesn't matter as your assumptions don't hold water...and you didn't say anything about 2 bedrooms.
