Nah, you're stuck. The kids like it here, have all their friends here. They decide they want to go to NAU with their pals. They graduate, get jobs, husbands, wives, and have grandchildren in AZ. When you get older you will value low taxes and medical care more than social progressiveness. And if that is not enough to keep you tied down, you won't be able to sell your Phoenix area house for enough to buy a one bedroom shack in Portland. Take it from me, you'll never get out of here alive if you wait.
