Police said that Jekai Reid-John, 27, followed him for 50 miles to his home after he spotted him winning $10,000 at Parx Casino just outside of Philadelphia

When Aravapallin arrived home Reid-John broke through a back sliding door and shot and killed him while his daughter and wife were asleep upstairs

Two days later police arrested Reid-John in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and charged him with first-degree murder
Fry him...and don't ever bring that Philly sh up there.

^^ I saw that story.

Was he going to follow him 100 miles? 200?
If the victim had stopped for gas I bet the criminal would have robbed and killed him right there at the gas station? (and the man wouldn't even have made it home? which is maybe a good thing, because the killer could have killed the man's family also.)

So if a person wins big, they have to make sure they have a full tank of gas when they get to the venue -- AND hope that his tank can hold more than the robber's tank. So the robber would have to break off the following because he would need gas and couldn't follow anymore.

It's a damned shame.
Yep, except he can't get what he serves because Jersey doesn't have capital punishment.

Im confused, how the hell does someone know if a person hits big at the casino? Is it announced at the casino?

If it's slots, there's lots of bells & whistles.

If it's a table game, there will be a lot of commotion & celebration, and a big pile of chips.

And then the winner usually takes their pile of chips to the "cage" to cash out, and go home.

There are plenty of cases where winners are robbed after cashing out, and leaving the casino.

I agree with the fry him part, I am all for introducing quick punishment to the fullest extent for heinous acts like this. Why waste our time and money?...

However, was the second part necessary? I remember last year when a couple from the Bronx punched a teenager in the face (breaking his jaw) at Sesame Place because they were asked to wear masks. Should I say don't bring that NY sh down here? Plus this crime didn't have any connection to Philadelphia (from what I read).

My point is that we are a disgraceful species and the location doesn't usually matter...

Wow that guy looks like a killer for sure. Just be on the lookout for these type of suspects. Goodness, this is a crazy story, but becoming the norm.

1) The killer could have an accomplice on the inside who let's him know who to follow.

2) This victim apparently had NO street smarts. (And not everyone has any. Look at how many people what around with no clue as to traffic or what's happening.) AND he had 10K on him?

I don't see how a person is followed for 50 miles into another state and doesn't realize they're being followed. By the time I make 4 or 5 turns I'm noticing whether a car seems to have been behind me for a long time. And certainly if a car has been behind me from 20 miles, or a shopping center, and taken every street, every turn I've taken, including into my neighborhood I've noticed that by then. Even if they're not the car right behind me I think I'd just notice that.

I also speed. So given that I'm always on the lookout for the police....I notice when cars are keeping up with me. If for no other reason I have to slow down to make sure they're NOT the police. So if I speed, they speed. I slow down they slow down. Oh, heck no.

I am not a casino person so I don't but is literal cash the only way to get your winnings? I'd never be comfortable carrying even a fraction of that amount of cash with me. Come on Parx, sign up for Venmo.

Even if he didn't have all or even half the winnings in cash, the killer thought he had or MIGHT have enough that's worth killing for -- let along robbing him for.

Look at how many people get killed for 50 bucks or even less because the animal who pulls the trigger is angry because the person Does NOT have any or enough money.

Senseless.
