Well, stop putting him in that position. It's completely unfair to him.
It's not his responsibility, it's your own.

He is so abusive to his employees that I just want to cry every day. I am not even a cryer.

Please help give me the strength to get through my day without walking out. I really do like eating and having a place to live.
I'm sorry, Num.
A few years ago I had a job where I wrote my resignation letter at least once a day. Took me about a year to finally act on it. Once I'd written it I could find any number of excuses to wait just another day...or week...until the end of the pay period...before turning it in.

Yawn, morning all.

Remember the good old days when companies used to care about retaining good people? When they were careful to treat employees with respect? Yea, gone it seems. Sorry Num.

Here is wishing for a weekend of health for all humans and vehicles.

Tonight I am watching a movie and drinking wine with some friends. Does anybody have a Netflix rec?
Nothing too heavy.

Num - is it possible for you to be looking elsewhere? I know when DH was in a horrible position a few years ago, he was pulling together his resume on the weekend, keeping his eyes open and quietly networking. You are in a tough position with your DH working for the same company. I don't envy you. It's also much harder when you are the main earner. Hang in there!

Mattie - that sounds like a wonderful evening. I rarely find good movies on Netflix so I'm no help. Enjoy though! And have a glass of wine for me. I'll be sitting home most likely....

1st Nummie: Hang in there. I'm thinking of you and praying things change for the better. I've had that horrid job so I feel for you. Lots of hugs!!

Yes, it is Mayberry. Yesterday afternoon I went out to turn off the drip system and it had "blown" and was spraying water all over the street. There were two kids walking home from school playing in it. Parents laughing at them. So I got a chance to talk with them. Where does that happen nowadays? (Our last neighborhood we'd have gotten reported for wasting water.)

MM: I got to watch a bit of your game. We got one of "those" catches from Kolb to Fitz so everyone is happy. (We could hear the neighbors cheering.) BTW: We have a hot god. #84. I'm going to be looking him up on the roster this morning, lol.

Yay for hot gods! Speaking of which, I forgot how darned gorgeous Brady Quinn is....he scored the only TDs last night among all 3 QBs...and when he pulled off that helmet....whooo--eeeh!

I heard about that catch by Fitz - between his left arm/hand and helmet? Or am I mixing up two different catches? May have to go look for highlight clips on that...Tebow had a nice pass last night too...47 yards I think?

Mr. Quinn is MOST excellent. Most, most, most! We only got bits of your game from NFL Network so I only saw him on the sidlines but, dang. I need to watch a few youtube videos of him in the weight room.

Yeah. Fitz caught one as you described. Classic Fitz. Big sigh of relief to know that he and Kolb are already clicking.

So what's going to happen now that Tebow looked good? I'm going to keep the radio on while I work this morning to hear what the talking heads say.

Morning everyone. Sounds like everyone is glad it's Friday. Hang in there num and maybe look for something else on the side. I know that's easier said than done.

mm - glad DS is feeling better. That's great that he only has class each day until noon! DS would be in heaven if that were the case here. Even as a senior with more than enough credits to graduate, they HAVE to take 6 classes a semester out of a possible 8. It seems slightly ridiculous because they just try and find brainless electives to take when they could be making much better use of their time.

Boychild is talking about fulltime public school next year (there's a magnet he wants to go to). He's going to start his freshman year with something like eleven high school credits under his belt. He'll fill the gaps with music classes-- every single one they offer, except chorus. He's certainly not Glee material, either by dint of personality or vocal ability. On a good day, he sounds like an off-key Louis Armstrong.
