Gggrrrrrr....
I'm trying to get quotes on Homeowners Insurance because our insurance carrier pulled a fast one on us and I don't like the lack of service I'm getting from their agency.
So I have 3 I'm trying to contact for quotes. One was easy; I did it online. The 2nd one I'm not too sure about. The 3rd one turns out to be my current agency with a different name! I started talking to this person and realize that she's the same person at RB and is the only one who is competent/caring enough to return my calls and answer my questions in a timely manner. So we have a conversation and she actually gives me the name of another agency who might be able to help me!
^^^ I hate dealing with insurance agents and companies. I saved a ton of money when I contacted USAA insurance earlier this year. They gave me better coverage, more protection and less of a monthly premium than I was getting from my near twenty year business that I had with an independent agency in town. I was blown away by their quotes on the house & car coverage compared to that of the independent company.
I also found out that not only does USAA cover military servicemen/women (with an honorable discharge not just retired) but also they will cover anyone who works as or retired from a police department, fire department and homeland security.
I received a packet of information from my secondary health insurance company with the “new” rates and coverage for next year. I’m not happy with the rates going up more. Seems they don’t cover as much, co-pay has increased and the premiums have also gone up all for less services and coverage.
Had a bad few hours today when I went to collect my photos. Should have had about
200 different pictures. Instead, I had about 160 and 40 or so, two or three the same!
The girl in the shop assured me it must be my fault when I picked out which ones I wanted
when she put the little brain out of my camera in her shop machine on Saturday. I told her I
was'nt to blame. So I had to go home for the two little brains so she can copy them again.
I pick them up tomorrow!

Aks, DH is retired homeland security. I tried USAA for auto insurance last year, but they couldn't come anywhere near what we were getting thru another co. Hmmmmm...I wonder if they do manufactured home insurance. Thanks...I'll look into them again. Might as well get totally ticked, right?
And I hear ya about health insurance. DH is supposed to get a COLA in Jan. for his pension, but I"m pretty sure the health insurance increase will negate that.
