I guess last May 24th, when I got my bachelor's degree (better late than never).

That seems really pathetic - like I've got no reason to dress up - but I work from home and most free time is spent either fixing up the new house or doing outdoorsy stuff.

Unfortunely, at my Aunt's funeral I wore black dress, blacks stockings and black shoes.

Today is also my son's 23rd birthday. I can remember the day he was born like yesterday.

Wink no wardrobe malfunctions

October I attended a special function with my wife in Los Vegas and also here at home. Not fun, who wants to dress up instead of being comfortable and relaxed? I even appeared on stage before several hundred people without a “wardrobe malfunction” Magnum Mike and Janet Jackson knows how embarrassing that can be.

Isn't it amazing how we can remember the details so vividly!

[quote=Karla with a K;2907145]I have to drag and I mean drag hubby out to buy a suit in the next week or so
we have my nieces wedding coming up so I will be dress shopping at the same time

She decided that since I am her godmother I am to be "escorted" up the aisle right before her mom. So it's going to be the whole "shabang" guess I am even going to even break out the makeup lol

woo hoo I even get a corsage lol do any of you remember the "friends" episode where Phoebe pinned that huge honking xmas corsage on her dress to cover a stain for a formal event

I keep teasing my niece that thats the kind I want.

Good luck on the "dragging" part as that is what Auntie Batz would have to do with me...along with my kicking and screaming.

So should we address you as Godmother

Hmm, I think the last time I wore a dress and hose was for a job interview 3 yrs ago. Seeing as I am in fl, the first thing I did after the interview was take my hose off in the car!

Well, since I think I look better in dresses and find dresses far more comfortable than pants (something about the "camel toe" effect), I can usually be found wearing a dress on my body and adorning my feet with open toed sandals. Nylons usually stay in the drawer unless I'm trying to look extra nice. People have to suffer with being blinded by my white legs!

Paradoxically, my sleeping attire consists of PJs rather than nightgowns.

Thanks for the dinner idea! I was wondering what to fix.
