Good morning everyone
Happy Friday
Wow this week went fast tomorrow is the weekend !!!
Since yesterday we discussed the "foodie" TV shows, I though it would be fun to find out how many "daring" folks we have here on the ? 0' the day
We have discussed the increase of "reality shows" many times but there seems to be an increase in the what I call the "Not sure how much you would have to pay me to do that job" reality shows.
I think you know the ones I am talking about
Ice Road truckers
Deadliest Catch
Ax Men
30 Days
Dirtiest Jobs
and so on

So now all you "daring" posters how will you answer

Todays Question:

Which of the "Job reality" shows would you like to pop in on for the day ?

Extra credit: Would you jump in and participate or just watch ?

Quintuple credit if you have ever had one of these type jobs

Today in history:
June 20, 1789 Oath of Tennis Court in France taken -um ok
June 20, 1782 Congress approves Great Seal of U.S. and eagle as it's symbol
June 20, 1840 Samuel Morse patents his telegraph ...---...
June 20, 1909 1st balloon honeymoon (Roger Burham and Eleanor Waring)

Word of the day
:
renascent \rih-NAS-uhnt\, adjective:
Springing or rising again into being; showing renewed vigor.

Today is:
National Ice Cream Soda Day
also
National Vanilla Milkshake Day
and
National Juggling Day

Got to be "Dirty Jobs", just to see how well my stomach could handle it! Then it would be off to "Axe Men" but as the cameraman.

Yep, with so many new shows. I like the cop shows, like 'Stupidest Criminals, 'Cops' and 'Scariest Police Chases'. And having friends in the 'force' Id ride along with some of those police chases, for the action.
Sorry, never had one of those jobs.

I would love to pop in on the Deadliest Catch, I love adventure like that. I would like to participate but that work is way beyond my abilities! The only crabbing I have ever done was back home with my father, a long stick with a string tied to it and some kind of bait hanging off of it, lol.

I am not a fan of reality shows at all, so I'm afraid I have to sit out this question.

Karla, not only does summer arrive today, it is also the Happiest Day of the Year!

I'm having a tough time juggling whether I to have an ice cream soda or a vanilla milkshake. Hmmmmmm.

Love Vanilla Milkshakes
1st Balloon Honeymoon......wonder how long that marriage lasted.

Hey folks
I don't know how I missed this, but today is also

Take your dog to work day !!!!!

Dang I wish I had know earlier I could of sent Lola and Ralph to work with Mr Karla
hmm almost make me wish I wasn't retired !!!!
well lol maybe not

I would probably like to ride along with either the Ice Road truckers or the Deadliest Catch gang I love both of these shows
I think either of those would be a major adrenaline rush !!!

I would love to head up to Dutch island and hang out with the gang at the bar and just listen to their stories

I would love to do a 30 days , it would be kind of cool to try something totally outside your normal life for 30 days

ax men - hmmm probably no, sharp objects and I are not a good match

Dirty jobs - hmm need to think on that one

ooooo did I mention that tonight we are having our 1st "official" Jax forum meet & greet
A few of us "hang out" since meeting on the forum but tonight we will be meeting more of the "locals"

anyone want to join us

Ditto for me. Don't watch much TV at all. I would like an ice cream soda or vanilla milkshake, however.

Don't watch any reality shows-but will definitely have the ice cream soda.

Happiest day of the year and first day of summer.

I want to go on that Balloon Honeymoon trip. I don't do reality. Give me fun!

I would like to rent a home in every state for one month at a time. I liked the reality shows where they toured the world. That would be fun, but it sounds like a little too much work trying to find the next clue. I just want to relax and go.
