Good morning everyone
Sorry this is late I had to fix some issues with my fundraiser and a promotion spot. Makes you kinda wonder how some folks make it out of their homes in the morning .

ok so I got todays inspiration from another of our loyal posters so in their "? 'O the day" debut here is

Todays question:

How long would you be able to last without a TV?

Bonus credit ... how would you fill your time now the TV is gone?

Today in history:
March 14, 1995 1st time 13 people in space , they had a party in space and I wasn't invited

Word of the day:

bedizen \bih-DY-zuhn\, transitive verb:
To dress or adorn in gaudy manner.

Today is:

National Potato Chip Day now we are talking !!!

rofl
It is also
International Ask A Question Day
Isn't that everyday here on CD

Good morning all!

I could survive without TV - I've been meaning to give up all the reality TV I watch anyhow! Now that it's baseball season, March Madness and NBA Playoffs (almost) all I really watch on TV is sports so if I had a radio that could work! Otherwise, give me a good book or some newspapers and I'd be fine!

Have a great weekend everyone!! I'm spending mine getting ready for my travel to San Antonio and Austin!

I agree with LaceyEx on this one. T.V. I could do without. Just don't touch my PC...

The longest I went without TV was 2 months... when we moved into this house about 3 years ago, it was all about painting and projects. We didn't see a need in getting the cable hooked up until we felt more settled in. Winter here would be tough without it.

Potato Chips= YUM, pass the Wavy Lays(my favorite) and the french onion dip please!

Question Day- Do you prefer the dog house or your room?

It'd be easy to get along without TV. I'd just have to move where there is no electricity.

Actually the only thing I'm really addicted to is my soap - Y&R (thank god for the reruns on the soap channel) and Lifetime Movies. I mean, what's not to like about Meredith Baxter on a rant?

My brother doesn't have a TV at his house, he says he watches too much of it. So when he comes to visit me, he plops his b*tt on the sofa with remote in hand for weeks at a time. It's very funny.

Im such a real tv and news junkie but can always read the paper or listen to the radio for news. I need some kind of noise in the morning, thats why the news, but again theres always the radio or a cd, as another option. As it stands I dont spend a lot of time glued to the couch anyway.
If my tv went out, Id be working on music more often or answering questions like this in forums, lol
