I love to dress up for dinner, company parties, theater - have a closet full of dresses and heels sitting right next to my jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and flipflops which are my usual daily attire :-)
The last time I wore high heels and a dress would have been for a wake and funeral.
I do not like to get dressed up to go out for dinner as it is a bit uncomfortable.
I love my jeans and clogs and sweat****s or warm winter sweaters. I work with babies and toddlers who drool a lot...so fancy is not in my wardrobe.
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

I can't remember the last time I wore a dress w/heels and hose. I wear skirts down here about once/week, but they're denim, very casual, or skorts. I'd like to go out to dinner fancy like that once in a while, but DH's idea of "going out to dinner" is chinese or Buddy Freddy's.
Taciturn?? I don't think I know anybody that fits that!
The last I gussied up was in 2006, at a Builder's Association Awards Dinner. I wore basic black, hosery and heels. I think it's time to nag Mr. Poconoproud for a night out!!
Wore a dress and hose just last week to Valentine's Day banquet at church, a very "dressy dress" too. I wear dresses and hose to church on Sunday too, but I often wear nice slacks to church often as well.
