Sorry GB and Nim, I get very tired of it all too. Hope things get better for you both this year.
Hey GB, what happened to your latest thread, its gone. I do hope that when they remove a thread they let the OP know why it was removed.
I don't know about threads, but the mods in general haven't told me why they've deleted my posts, or even that they have. Sometimes I can't even remember what post was about that was deleted and it would be nice to know so that I know in the future what not to post about. I realize there is TOS but sometimes the link between the TOS and why a post was deleted isn't obvious. I'm hoping GB got a PM about it too.
Hey todd00: thanks, we all need to have some hope in our lives!
And thanks for asking.... I had the thread removed... due to the subject matter, I and some other posters felt that it was better for me to keep this info "close to the vest".....this is a weird predicament for me.
But I will try to send out "updates"

I rarely get lonely since I really enjoy spending most of my time by myself. I go online if I'm feeling social and want to chat with my friends. I always have coworkers I can go out to eat with or stuff if I really want to DO something. I also have my 4 year old grandson who will happily keep me company.....especially if I'm in a toy buying kinda mood.
i wish i had someone to talk to sometimes. in high school, my girl friends and i talked nonstop. mostly about boys. now, things are just different. we don't have as much time for friends as when they seemed to be our world, i.e., high school and college.
i certainly can relate - i had/have two best friends - one passed away on 12/2/2011 and the other has early onset dementia - you have no idea how much i would love a normal conversation that i dont have to keep repeating what i say or listen to her repeat everything from 3 minutes ago - such is life -i guess the person that mentioned the internet is right - it does help
right now...Sometimes it heals if someone can listen
