My EB started in June and my first eligibility review is this month. Since the extension passed and my claim should revert back to EUC will I still be required to go in for future reviews every four weeks or will those end since I won't be collecting EB anymore?

I'm in my second benefit year and just finished my last week of "regular" unemployment. Upon logging in just now, I see that my account shows an EUC effective date of 7/25/10 and it says, "Yes," eligible for EUC with my weekly benefit amount. Based on this, is it safe to assume that - due to the extension that was passed - that I miraculously have rolled over to Tier I of EUC in my second year?

Nicolette - your situation is the same as my husband's, except that he finished the first week of June and we saw that this morning too. I'm assuming what you're thinking is correct. I think you have to wait one week for the benefits after that...but hopefully sometime this week we'll get the retroactive payment!

I know it's asking a lot for that to be processed in one week...but the bill companies and rental companies don't wait!

Well, I was hoping for something in the mail...but nothing came today. I also just checked my online account and I'm not seeing anything different....still UNKNOWN and still can't certify.

Nicolette, I am on my last week of "reg. Unemployment" in my second year as well. I called the Raleigh office and the lady told me should couldn't tell me anything until I exhaust my final payment on Sunday. Hopefully, mine will do the same and automatically rolled over to Tier I. I am pretty sure I meet the 1.5 times requirement.

Wow what a mess this whole extension thing is...so here is my situation...of course I could not get through to either my local office or the remote services center today....

I finished my 2nd benefit year 7/10/2010...I have been able to certify every week but have been getting this message upon completing the certification....

Your claim for the week of 7/17/2010 has been accepted but cannot be processed for payment because your claim is monetarily ineligible. If you need further information, please call the Remote Service Center at 1-888-737-0259.

I thought I certified yesterday and got the same message...

Then today I figured I would login to see if my profile had changed at all with the extensions kicking in...there was no change to my profile but when I went to weekly certifications it prompted me to certify again for the week ending 7/24...of course I got excited....but instead got this new message today....any ideas what it means?

The week for which you are trying to file, 7/24/2010, has already been claimed on another benefit year. If you need further information, please call the Remote Service Center at 1-888-737-0259.

I know I am not monetarily eligible for extensions in my 2nd year...am i going to have to call and try to get someone to "pull forward" my remaining extension weeks from my First benefit year before I will start receiving the benefits of this extension or do we think ESC is going to address all these pull forwards at the same time as it gets everyone's new extensions in order...

Yes, that's exactly what I must've done? I certified yesterday online to receive my last "regular unemployment" payment, which will be in my account by Tues. morn. Basically, it seems I certified for my last week yesterday, July 25th, and when the system updated last night, I see today that I'm supposedly eligible for EUC Tier I in my second year.

I tried calling the local ESC office ALL DAY, and it was busy! I kid you not!

We must be right. I feel like a miracle just happened, because I literally just certified for my last week of regular unemployment in my second benefit year, yesterday, online. If the extension hadn't passed, I'd be off the roll permanently. "Maybe" I would've qualified for EB, who knows. But, still...

So, does your husband and myself receive 20 weeks of EUC Tier I? I believe so.
