I meant that when the programming was installed, the system would either generate any payments that were 4 weeks and under or it will change the claimants status from Benefits Exhausted to Active Claim.

I last filed 2/13/10.
No, haven't heard anything regarding what may need to be done on the part of consultants after the programming is run.

Do you have any insight on this?

It not like TIER III when they had to back date to November 2009.
While a letter may be a comforting sign of eligibility, I wouldn't worry too much about not receiving one. Anyone who has received Tier 1, 2, and 3 should automatically be eligible for Tier 4. There is no new or different requirement to receive Tier 4. It's all EUC. Once qualified for EUC, one should be able to receive ALL EUC, if otherwise eligible.

You can call your local office and ask them what tier you're on, they should easily be able to tell you.

EB kicked in for some people after they received Tier 2, BEFORE Tier 3 was finished. Then when Tier 3 was finished, EB stopped and they got Tier 3, until it was finished. Then EB should kick back in (if not previously exhausted) until Tier 4 was ready. When Tier 4 starts, some people will go off EB and get the Tier 4, then go back on EB (if not previously exhausted). In some cases though, folks who have been receiving EB may just simply have some of their EB paid weeks switched over to Tier 4, and add the associated money already received back into their EB balance.

For many, EB was exhausted before Tier 3 was done, so there is no more EB to go back to.

She says all I can do is wait. So it looks like I will be waiting until at least next Tuesday when the next batch runs. Please pray with me that I get paid next week. Time is running out!

Jdljr- please comment on this. I feel like I am getting the run around.
Well, it depends on the status of your claim...did you last receive regular UI in your current benefit year, and so far NO EUC from your previous benefit year has been pulled forward?

Or is it that you received your regular UI in your new benefit year, then they did a pull forward and you finished your Tier 2 in your current benefit year but even though your claim shows a balance of Tier 3, it won't pay it?

Or is it that you received your regular UI in your new benefit year and exhausted Tier 2, but no Tier 3 balance set up?

The needed fix depends on the answer.

I have not heard about them doing pull forwards in batches.

If this post is true, this confirms what we already know about the ongoing clusterf*ck over at NCESC.

has anyone gotten there letters or money yet? - Page 63

>> He said yes they do have problems with programming the computers. They barely have the chance to upgrade the system before another tier is offered and legislature being held up sets things back. Plus the programmer can only do this on weekends.

What. The. F*CK?!

The person making the remarks says there is only ONE programmer doing the upgrading work ON THE WEEKENDS! And they've hired temps who they are advising the public not to listen to. Why do those people have a job? This is the definition of irony, people.

Basically, temps who can't do their job. Regulars who won't do their job.

And one programmer... coming in on weekends.

A 16 year-old running a "lawn care" job out of his mom's basement could do better.

Astonishing.

She didn't say. As I understand it, if you have been able to file then when the pull forwards happen the system will pay for all the weeks you have filed. There are some people though that have not even been able to file. (Thank God that is not my case) I am not sure what happens to them.
Update this post after you get some news,ok
Goodluck!

while I have a regular active claim I tried to file the retro but still has the 2/27 date and won't let me, should I just wait to see what happens...are we going to get instructions on how to do the retropayments or should I call a claims specialist tired of waiting on what to do...
