I'm sure in today's world, there will be other people there with their "Significant Other."

But we both enjoyed it and I would do it again.

Oddly enough, I have never wanted to go to one of my own class reunions but I think because I had no history with the people at hers it was somehow nicer to deal with..........no pressures to prove anything.

You and your friend are adults, so simply introduce him as a good friend and leave it at that. After all, this is 2014, not 1950. Have fun and go.

I agree with these two, if your friend is someone who socializes easily. I went to my ex's (before he was my ex) reunion and had a great time. I think he had a better time because I was there (I talk easily to strangers). By the time he went to the next reunion, we were divorced - and a lot of the people were upset I wasn't there - and told him!

Plus, the time spent there is only a portion of the whole trip. Go and have a good time.
