Have you not seen the latest numbers? Cases are rising, my friend. Had people worn their masks as I’ve been saying all along, this would have been over.
I haven't seen the numbers recently. Are hospitalizations also rising?
Yes, everything is going up.
And why must hospitalizations go up in order for you to take it seriously? Just the fact that Covid positivity rates are rising should be enough for people to be alarmed. There are some severe long term effects from Covid, so best to avoid contracting the virus altogether.

I’m just annoyed that it’s been two years and this damn virus just won’t go away. We got through the Spanish Flu but somehow can’t get through this. And I think the Spanish Flu was a lot more severe. Just goes to show that people back then we’re more cooperative than the people today.
