They’re not afraid of car accidents or anything else except COVID. Imagine if every car accident was presented in the news along with graphic videos of the accidents. No one would ever take an Uber lol
Well taking a car cannot be avoided if I want to get to destination B. Really not much else you can do to mitigate the risk. But I wear a seatbelt to mitigate the risk of serious injury.
With Covid, all I have to do is wear a face mask. You don’t have to lock up in your house or cancel your plans. Just wear a mask! That’s the great thing about masks. It prevents extreme measures such as lockdowns and allows us to live normal and free lives, and staying safe doing so. I look at face masks as the Covid seatbelt.
I don't know how you folks manage in the winter with scarves and gloves and hats and such if you find it such a struggle to put a face mask on when you step indoors. It takes two seconds. I can do it with a leash in one hand.

The issue is doing it with no end date in sight. I dont know about u but I like to breathe easy

Exactly! It’s so easy. People just like finding a reason to complain!

Well there is no end date is sight with Covid. So until that happens, whatever that day may be, we need to continue living life prudently. And please, stop with the lame excuse that you can’t breathe. You’ll have even more trouble breathing if you get Covid and end up praying for your life on a ventilator!

I personally would be just as happy not to have to wear a mask indoors anymore. Of course. I'd also love to not to have to put on sunscreen every morning. Seat belts are even more annoying. Sometimes you have to take some precautions in the face of risks. Adults can cope with minor inconveniences. I don't know about you, but I stopped being a toddler a few decades ago.
