There’s a reason why Queens has the most cases and why it’s hospitals are overwhelmed.
In my view the reason is that JFK airport is in Queens and most of the workers there live in Queens, and they only stopped direct flights from Wuhan in late January
Bla is holding a news conference. He said the city death toll is now at 366. However as of last night it was 365. So either it's dropped off almost completely, that's the one day number (which would be a disaster), or something's wrong with the reporting.

or most likely there's something wrong with him. I hope someone puts together a good montage of this loser including quotes like when he was going around reassuring everyone people with no symptoms can't spread it and how there's no reason to close schools

In New York, the medical establishment is braced for the resulting impact
“I think this will play out in the next few weeks, with some people returning from China, and some who have gone from here to China to visit hometowns,” said Dr. Perry Pong, medical director of the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center in the heart of Chinatown. “When those people come back, then we will see how that’ll turn out.”
“There’s no known cases in New York City [but] we have seen a spread that is so rapid now … that we have to act on the assumption that there will unfortunately be cases sooner rather than later in New York City,” he said.
New York City has already distributed 1.5 million masks and it now needs more. However he said New Yorkers don't need to be wearing masks right now.
While no cases have been found in the tri-state areas, there were two areas neighboring New York City where there were multiple people in voluntary isolation. There were 83 people being monitored in Nassau County after possible exposure to the virus, and eight people in Westchester County being observed as well.

Some of those from Wuhan likely went to Flushing or Elmhurst. But of course people in general likely got infected at JFK and carted it back home and spread it to others.
Let them be. Their the same ones who dont get vaccinated against preventable things like measles then when it hits their community they wonder what happened. Let them spread it among themselves, they will learn eventually, maybe.

Guilt, perhaps for the screw ups you mentioned, among others?
In not taking the slide if seriously he helped it spread all over the country. NYC has three major airports plus commuters from major states. Epic failure de Blasio.
