To any of you guys starting cdl tomorrow, good luck. It's going to be a bit overwhelming at first but I promise you by the last day you will be an expert. Just make sure to read the book when you go home.

sanitation workers get carry while they work in those type of neighborhoods. they get an issued gun that they have to check in/out along with a serial card.

Put the garbage in the back of the truck don't say nothing, keep it moving. Oh yeah you don't have to be in a ghetto neighborhood to have problems, see above instructions!
Just remember- you new guys will probably have better seniority, vacation, shift preference at these so called ghetto garages. Everything is a trade off.
CDL training is fun. All the trucks are new and we drove and did pre trip today. Tomorrow is the same except we'll be driving in the city (Flatbush Ave) . If everyone passes the CDL class and gets licensed we'll all be in the first hiring class.
Instructors are cool as ****. Real laid back , no pressure. Just pay attention.
