Mayor Bloomberg said that NYC dodged the bullet. The heavy snowfall was in Suffolk County as well as in CT. and MA.

According to NBC, this morning limited Amtrak service between NYC and Boston has been restored. LIRR is running a close to normal LIRR weekend service. As for Metro North, service is still suspended between Stamford and New Haven (due ice on the tracks I believe).
