Slide #7 reminded me of Romero's Dawn of the Dead -in the beginning when the main character is cleaning up the "problem" in the PJ's.....great pix - good post!
Great quality pics...although I didn't get the "wow a new appreciation for cops" sense that other people did. These are just photographs of the stuff that you seen on the COPS tv show for the past 2 decades. Nothing was particularly unique to NYC, or the Bronx to that matter except the housing projects. Replace those with trailer parks, and it could be anywhere in the country on COPS.
Good pics though. Too bad he wasn't able to capture the smiles from cops and the good things that happen...but nobody wants to see that.
